Merry Cthulhumas to everyone. I for one will be driving across country on the 25th. I get my presents once I become unhomeless and unpack ;)
I am moving back to the south because I finally found full time job for the first time in two years. So it will be prosperous for me. Plus the city of San Francisco can't deny me buying the last three guns and the bow I want where I move. So take that SF.
Thank you, Karl. Many may not realize that actually occurred during Christmas 1914. Many played soccer, sang songs, traded helmets (for the time being) and exchanged presents of chocolate and cigarettes. The staff officers were furious on all sides when they learned of the event and threatened court martial to anyone that participated. Some line officers threatened to shoot their own men. In the end, the spirit of the season prevailed and no one was punished. However, as Christmas 1915 arrived leaflets were handed out on both sides of the line threatening execution for any soldiers caught fraternizing with the enemy. Sometimes it's hard to just be human.
