ash hole

1) the small opening in the volcanic ash clouds that allow airliners to fly through without any chance of danger.
2) the opening at the top of a volcano from which forth spews volcanic ash

We were stranded at Heathrow Airport for hours until the airline found some ash hole to fly through.

Gotta keep up with these things!

Ash holes are very similar to ice holes. While ice holes are a great way to capture polar bears - ash holes are a pretty darn good trap for black bears. Once the ash hole is clearly defined and all of the waste by-products have stopped spewing from it - take a bag of frozen peas and line them around the hole in the ash. Space them evenly - it's important. When a bear comes to take a pea - kick him in the ash hole. Works every time.

Black bears, sometimes called teddy bears for the cute behavior as a cub are quite easy to remove from the ash hole. A Teddy Prod (TP) works quite well.

The players write down management-nonsense word like "Out-of-the-box-thinking", "Synergy", "Content streamlining" etc. in a 5 by 5 square bingo card. If a word or phrase is used during the meeting you check the box. When you get a five box line (horizontally, vertically or diagonally ) you shout "BULL****!" and win.

btw. this was not a client meeting, just an internal agency "brainstorming" before a big presentation to the client. 12 creatives including me, played the game just to get the account people to stop using so many meaningless words. It got their attention and everyone had a good time.

The meeting was close to 2hrs long--45min into it we had a Bingo.
80% of the words came from account, 20% from media. Creatives hardly know what they even mean.

I'd like to play this at Govt. meetings.
