I think what you've managed in such a short space of time is just awsome. I hope to join you soon, once I've got this nicotine thing in some sort of perspective.

Of course, those who are just knapping, need less H2O as a general rule.
Winnie if you get that nicotine thingy under control please let me know how you do it. I've never had a problem with weight but cigs are my downfall. Guess we all have our own problems, whatever they are. Great job Crash.

This week will be a test. MIL, SIL and niece are coming in for a few days and staying at a fancy, nearby resort. They have booked us a room too.
I am back "UP" at 202#/203#
Well, Crash, a splurge once in a while doesn't hurt.:)
Sourdough, all that work you're doing is increasing your muscle mass, and everyone knows muscle is more dense, therefore heavier then fat.:innocent:
Stay strong Crash..."don't go there". Too early to go there. Let them eat cake.
(speaking from experience)
Welllllllll. I'll try to not go too far overboard. Here's where we'll be spending a few days (SIL's birthday present to Mrs. Crash, so it would be rude to refuse). http://www.pontevedra.com/inn-and-club/index.aspx
By "don't go there" I meant to say don't let your guard down and order stuff from the menu that would compromise all your hard work up to now.
(For me it takes one bite to fall off the wagon and land on my a$$, where it's much harder to get up from--kinda like smoking.)
The place looks fabulous, I'm sure you and the birthday girl will have a blast.

Great stuff!!
Back in the saddle again! Congrats.
And getting happier by the day it looks like.
I don't like to be the one to say it, but...
Told ya so!
Glad you're over the hump. You will take off some more pounds and probably hit another stopping point or two before you reach your goal. Take it easy and don't push too hard. Some folks get so focused on just "losing weight" they put their health in jeopardy. Patience and persistence will win!
one word: Perdurabo
Good job Crash!
Oh, I've got no illusions about the journey. I know there will be bumps in the road just as there are in other aspects of life. My focus is not on losing weight, but rather living a more healthy life style. The weight will follow.
It's a change in how and what you eat. After you have met your goal, you can perhaps have once in a while, something from the past.
What do you miss the most? I miss pasta. I could be the "Bubba" of pasta. 100 ways to make pasta and they're all great.
Remember always set acheivable goals. Reward yourself and stay true to yourself. I have spent a lot of my young life overcoming addictions. One day at a time. GOOD LUCK!!
