Yeah, I was out walking with a face mask, parka and heavy gloves the first part of the week and was out walking today in a T shirt and jacket. It was in the mid 30s and lot's of sunshine. Very nice. Gonna change tomorrow though.
I made home fried potatoes with cheese, a fried egg on top and toast. I wasn't quick enough with the camera.
Okay. Let's think this through. Look at that list of ingredients. There may be a reason you are so slow. Just sayin'............:whistling:
Steak and onion pie, roast potatoes and braised red cabbage.
I'm now sitting in front of the fire nursing a Highland Coffee, made with Black Grouse Scotch....nom,nom,nom.
Steak and onion pie. MMmmmmm. My mom used to make that. It was to die for.
Today it was backstrap Teryaki stir fry served over rice.
It wasnt me cookin it but where i am at the moment theres a fruit called jumpfruit, but the locals like to take good things and stick it in a deep fryer. If fruit is deep fried, is it still good for you? Tastes pretty good in any case.
Tonight was grilled hot dogs, potato salad and baked beans.
Vegetable Omelette tonight, used a variety of the vegetables I dehydrated. It was surprisingly good!
Chili. Not the temperature, the meal.

A feller could come down with Chlorophyll poisoning or something serious like that. Better keep some alcohol handy Justin Case.
It sure smells good, The meat is still a little tough,,
Give it a few more hours. They call em slow cookers for a reason.
Sounds like you are an impatient patient.
3:20? Jerusalem artichokes! It's beer time!
I haven't been cooking a whole lot lately, but here are a couple from last week:
Non-fried chicken
I used the Hungry Girl method - coated in Fiber One crumbs.
It was a tasty coating, but it got soggy in spots. I don't know if the chicken was too wet or the crumbs too fine. Either way, I ended up putting them under the broiler for a minute or so on each side.
On the side, a celery root and carrot puree, and some asparagus.

Arizona "Baked Beans"
Homegrown tepary beans, simmered in homemade chicken stock, with some country ham, cayenne, sage, onions, garlic, and for that little touch of sweetness -- a little bit of that mesquite bean syrup I made.
Oh man are these good, and just about all of it is homegrown or homemade.
Served with a hot buttered tortilla - yum!
