And now, I have to leave you and go to work. No escorting tonight, it's my OTHER job - just got a call. Bye bye! :)

Well currently I am a Code Enforcer. Got out of the Air National Guard last April and before that I was a logger. The summer of 2011 I am going back to Indiana and will be logging again.
Currently I sell all my worldly possessions online to pay my bills.
Stumbled into being a solar/wind designer here in AK. From living in the woods for 3 years to this... crazy! My wife and I agreed it's only for a year, two max, then back out in the bush full time.
We will be able to upgrade equipment and gear and get back to what we really love. I work with really amazing people and don't punch a clock, so it's not too bad.
I am a retailer.
I'm a tourist guide of sorts. But I don't pay the bills, my wife does. She makes more money then me.
washing dishes and walking dogs.
Retail now,but I get to drive a forklift again,so it's cool,pay sucks though.
She's driving the forklift because she needs the pointy things out front for the deer.
Hmmm, thats an idea Rick, but I am a very good forklift driver,it was my job before the lump got sick and I got a permanant layoff because of all his appointmants, taught myself to drive a stand up that the company had purchased and no one could drive, then had to teach others to drive it.
Oh heck don't apologize Kevin,it was funny, because people look at me kinda funny when I climb on the lift to load them, with 4 guys hanging around they think they want somene who knows what they are doing on the lift, well,I know what I am doing, did it for years LOL.
When I first learned how,my co-workers made fun of me because of the size of the lift I was on,one Christmas gift I got that year was a Tonka toy, with a note that it was much more my size,I'm used to the kidding. And I take no offense, when customers comment that maybe one of the guys should load them,I just grin and go on with my job, shuts them up pretty quick.LMAO!
Here I was immediately thinking that if she wants to get more deer, MDN is gonna need a faster forklift.
@owl_girl: beats walking dishes and washing dogs
I had to play dodge the deer 2 nights ago,on the ice that has form since the snowis melting and refreezing at night, thankfully,I respect the snow and ice and was going a snails pace when six of them ran out in front of me,so no issues with stopping, but I had already seen the lights flash in their eyes so I knew they were out there.
Put a moose bumper on your truck.
I work for a company known for making green and yellow tractors. It's a small division that works with accounting software for co-ops.
Retired Air Force Powerlinman (among other jobs I did while in). Unemployed college student at the moment.
Nice. I was looking at energy management with a solar/wind minor as my degree. I was losing 10 hours a week with the drive to school, and the gas was out of pocket. Just could not keep it up for financial reasons. There is some pretty cool stuff out there, if you can get folks consumption down to work within what the system will make on an average. Once I get back to work, I will be putting a solar water heating system on the house. I already have a smaller PV set-up for the shed out back (should be about 400W), I just have to get some nice weather to assemble it (plus get some LED lamps to fully take advantage of it).
I make websites.
I'm a "Desk/Phone Jockey". I get to spend my days answering the phone, redirecting calls, scheduling meetings, sorting mail, receiving deliveris and ordering other peoples lunches... I believe the term is "Peon".
It give me plenty of time to wish I was camping.
