I agree with what you said. One thing I would like to add is that while 95% of a males altercations will involve some type of verbal abuse/sparring/macho posturing first, most of the time (80%?) females will not be confronted as such, and will be grabbed from behind or the side and then "overpowered" by a bigger assailant. I'm not sure of the percentages, but I've heard this from just about every martial arts instructor, self-defense instructor, cop, etc that I've talked to about fighting, which is a LOT.Quote:
