Some people might consider laying off the hatorade once in a awhile; it's giving them a false sense of moral high ground, and apparently doesn't make them any happier.

Wow, you had to show them your drivers licences and CCW to buy a rifle and walk out. I recently bought a hand gun and just showed them my DL and walked out.

Same here. Don't need to show my CCW to buy a long gun. They sure do have some draconian laws in some places. :innocent:

Same here, too. What is it with these archaic state laws? I wouldn't live anywhere that I have to show my CCW just to buy a gun. Man!

Even in good ol' MA you only have to show your drivers license for a long gun or black powder.
The trouble happens when you try to by AMMO for them.

Edit. Sorry. Long gun does require at least an FID. Black powder, no.

You don't need to show it here either if you go through the regular process for clearance. In KY if you have a CCW you do not have to clear the computer or have it called in. You pay and walk out. The CCW shows you are preapproved.

There's no waiting period in Alaska for handguns either.
