Musta' been a while ago, huh, 2dumb? Martini and Rossi hasn't called it Asti Spumante in over 10 years. Now they call it Asti.

I've just polished my Champagne flutes. Come around 9:00, depending how fast the results come in, I'll either be firing up that Diplomatico and popping that Asti cork or throwing that champagne bottle at the television screen. My TV is 5 years old - I've watched it more in the last 4 days than I had in the entire 5 years before that.

Silly. He's just aging it. I've got some Ripple and MD 20/20 around here that'll fetch a pretty penny in another ten years or so.

LOL...Actually, it's probably been over 15 years ago. Wine's not my thing. Sparkling, or otherwise.

Wine in screw-top bottles isn't meant to be aged beyond 3 days. Generally, it's consumed from the bottle in a brown paper bag in the parking lot of the liquor store.

Anyway, my Asti is now a perfect 41°. The glasses are ready. :innocent:

The polls close in 1 hour and 20 minutes............ Both of my sons are here. They just voted. Yep, I raised me some conservatives, I did. :blushing:

Oh yeah.....I meant to ask......how the heck do you play a Champagne flute???:innocent:
