Ah, look. Another nibble. Watch your cork, Crash.
I would choose neither,I have been to Atlanta, never been to Boston, but it is a city, and I just don't care for the city life on a good day, nothing against the people,it's the noise, buildings, lack of wildlife and trees.Too sad for me to even think of living in a place like either of them,or the thousands like them, nuke attack or not.
No Sam, they will shoot me, shoot my wife and hang my kids.
A mans words show his inner soul.
You're not doing to well here.
Nuke? Oh, man. I thought it was a nude attack. Rats!
Actually I was looking for a site that showed Parisian inmates. I wasn't aware that it was site enabling their next crime. If you are implying that I would associate with any of them you are sorely mistaken. I have already proven my point and all you can do resort to name calling. Congratulations. I never figured you were made of much. Hopefully one day they let you become a moderator of this forum and then your life will be complete. Sheep.
As far as being in Atlanta or Boston after an attack on DC, I'm with Nell (well OK, not really - easy there Trax). I don't live in either of those cities now, so I wouldn't move away from the area that I have chosen to live and prepare in.
I guess I'm wondering - if you feel that Atlanta is so bad, why do you stay? Or are you not in Atlanta?
Nell,
The city is not that bad. I kind of miss it really. Ventured into the Buford Farmers market today. I really like that part of town. Asian, Hispanic, Cuban, Med., Korean, it's like the world all on one road going from Gainesville to Atlanta.
The city is a nice place if you make it that way. Just like wilderness survival, there are the dangers. You can go through life living it, being cautious and enjoying it. Or you can do what many do, go through life scared.
You would do just fine. For awhile.
Maybe you should take a look at the myriad of sites that you link to before you post them.
Where did I call you a name. I have made no personal attacks - merely questions based on your postings.
You have proven nothing.
My life is fairly complete now, but thank you for your concern. Not quite sure how to follow your logic, but thanks.
Well, my day is complete. Sam has insulted me. I may not sleep tonight pondering my fate. And yes, my life is complete. Want to see what wondrous powers a moderator has?
It was a hypothetical question like so many of the other hypothetical scenarios in this forum.
I live in Dawsonville, Ga. Not too far from FVR. I recolonize the landscape.Quote:

I wasn't expecting a penpal site.
You insiniated that I had some "fantasy" with a bunch of convicts.Quote:

And I suppose you have?Quote:

Just cant adjust to the city life,it is not in me to do so,I love being able to walk out my back door, and walk into the woods, and there is inherent danger in everything we do in life,I am not afraid of the danger (well maybe a little:D) Went through Atlanta a year and a half ago,it's a dang BIG city, everyone I met when I was there was very pleasant, visiting is one thing though and living in it is another, dont even want to try to get used to the city life;)
That's why I suggested you read what you link, rather than just link.
As far as insinuating something --- just following your lead. You posted the link. You say you weren't expecting a penpal site, did somebody make you post it?
Where have I said or suggested that I have proven anything?
Tsk, tsk, tsk.Quote:

It's coming.
I admit it was my mistake. I thought it was a prison site.
What I posted in that case was an oversite. You implied that I have networking with some thugs to "learn" something.Quote:

Then what was the point?Quote:

Come on Sam.
Look at Georgia and the just recent CCP changes. Look at DC and the recent 2nd adm. awareness and changes.
I was reading where the united civil lib. union is getting hate blogs from it's members, members are switching their support from the uclu to the NRA. Because of their stance on the 2nd Amend.
Just look at the battle at the Atl airport.
There are changes being made, Americans are waking up.
To compare the US to S Africa, it does not jive.
Now, if you want to talk NJ, well, that's why I don't live there anymore.
Obama has one thing right. Americans in small towns, we cling to our God and our Guns.
For a reason.
It's your argument. You posted something about how about a million people in Atlanta looked. When I responded that I didn't know how they looked, I asked you to enlighten me. You did, with that post we've been talking about. So my argument? I do believe you've got that backwards.
During the 1960 the Boers had a furious resistance. After international pressure they were finally forced to lower their guard. Now South Africa is known as "Custard's Last Stand".
Sad part is if the economy were to allow it Atlanta would span from Macon to Nashville.Quote:

You're off base, way off. I walk like a Redneck, talk like a Redneck, dress like a Redneck I am a Redneck, I fly the flag my family went to war under all the way down to my grandson who's wanting to go into the Marines before college. We fought in the Revolution and every little spat up to today. My ggrandpa walked 50 miles to join the 14th KY Infantry Volunteers (Union Troops). We weren't rich. Slaves probably had it as well as my family and Eastern counties from Johnson to the Ohio River were Union. Redneck and KKK don't necessarily go together and we don't hate any race but we sure ain't happy with people who think they are smart enough to judge us. BTW read the definition of Redneck. We don't hate, just get irritated with ignorance.
What about an animal that isn't a sheep, and doesn't protect them, but doesn't necessarily wish harm to befall them? What would that be? A pug? I think I'm a pug.
Ol Coot,
My post was scarcastic to show that things are not what they seem.
You need to read the whole thread, not just bits and pieces then comment.
And just how happy would pugs be to hear that, FB? They may welcome you with open paws. Then again......
I admit I was wrong for sure. I missed the point completely. I don't like to be put in any group and I just happen to be very proud of who I am and what I believe. We put that North-South bit behind us and we have respect for the men on both sides and both flags. We are a different breed, but when we are wrong we'll admit it. I hope I made myself clear this time.:D
Maybe it's because country mama's know that kids need a spanking now and then, and city folk don't. Have you noticed the increase in crime over the past 20 years since spanking was "discouraged"?
I mean in my town last year we had 2 teenage girls beat up an old lady for her purse in a store parking lot. The lady probably did not have more than $40 cash. The lady died.
What's with that? Then we have girl gangs here too, and a large increase in them. And they start fights in the street. They don't have guns (yet).
