Cool, I guess one of you "Official" types could move the posts in this thread that are about books to the "Official" Book Sticky. I don't think I even knew we had an "Official" Book Sticky. I think I'm gonna go there right now and check it out.:)

I copied them to the sticky.
Thank you Rick
All the clues are in these threads.

Jason heel, heel boy or you go into the kennel with the other dogs that try to bite little kids.
(suddenly a kid bust through the door screaming "there is a feral dog musher attacking me")
Good grief I crack myself up sometimes. "feral dog musher" that is freak'n funny!!!
Sounds to me like someone has been visiting with Captain Morgan.
feral dog musher...that is really funny
Visit! Capt. Morgan lives here.
Yea, there are just so many ways to look at this.
Announcer 1: Now we see Jason Montana moving his team up to the starting line, what an unusual looking string of dogs!
Announcer 2: Yes, Jason decided to go feral this season. His usual team of dogs are all doing time for getting overly excited around little kids in snowsuits.
He can't hear you over the sound of his feralness.
ND: "I think that the inner (BIG) city dwellers are crazy for wanting to live in that environment! I haven't ever seen a car-jacking, mugging, rape, stabbing, etc., out here in the woods, nor in the towns I go to when picking up supplies. And, when I see a bear, or big cat, I know to avoid them, which prevents any trouble".
Mountain lion sightings in Alaska are rare.

ND: "Two years before I moved full time I lived for a year in AK. 80 miles from the nearest town, in an old trappers cabin".
I'd say it's not Alaska.
ok, if you read his canoe story its about 4 days to paddle to town, Town is 240 miles away. Well ive gone 95 miles in three days, with the current. 240 miles in 4 days? thats some paddeling.
Let's not forget barefoot in the snows of Alaskan winters.
We got us a convoy...

I wouldn't have thought that touring with lesbians would involve anything going "up the Yetna".
But, hey, glad that worked out for you in the end... :innocent:
So like is "Yetna" a name for something other then a river in southeast Alaska?
Yet. On second thought. na
OK, so after all this chatter the person in question could answer and clear all this up.
But maybe in that remote location it takes a while for the lap-top to charge. And the satellite to go by.
Well ND?
You've had some very informative post here with some good info for many to learn by.
How about telling us about the area you live in. your silence has peaked my curiosities.
Nobody really cares, we just want to know if what you say is first hand experience. Even if not its still good info. Ive learned a lot from your post here.
Bumping this up so's it's readily available if ND decides to come back!
