Gee. My 22 year old rap music lovin' anti-establishment daughter would box anyone's ears if she heard 'em say anything unkind about Hannity. :innocent:
I listen to GB. He is very entertaining. He has alot of good points. I love the way he pokes fun at himself and those who don't like him. I listen to him and ORielly. I think they are the two who are least biased when it comes to reps and dems. They argue about the flaws on both sides. Hannity and Savage are a little extreme IMO. Rush is very informative and I like to listen to him.
This could all be a mute point if the FCC gets their way. The goal is to do away with talk radio in favor of localized venues. Stay tuned. It could get interesting.
That's a very good question. I suppose only Mark Lloyd knows the real answer to that one. I think the FCC will be undertaking a major shift in the next few years and it won't necessarily be a good one.
Oh wait.....I have an idea! (How many of you, just said "oh shi*, here we go.)
How about if every show, TV or radio, has to announce at the beginning of every show, and after every commercial, whether that show is news(fact), or entertainment(opinion).
Then if any show that claims to be news(fact), is caught airing "facts" that are wrong or misleading, they lose their license.
...and I also think that if you are claiming to be news, and you are caught not reporting certain facts, in order to sway the public's opinion of a person or policy, you should lose your license.
Well, something similar is under consideration. Lloyd wants to redistribute broadcast licenses. That would take the platform away from folks like Beck, Limbaugh, etc and give the license to newer local stations. His words..."...conservative talk radio dominates the airwaves of our country to the detriment of informed public discourse and the First Amendment."
Personally, that's what I thought the first amendment was about but what do I know?
You all know me. I'm not a conspiracy pundit. In fact, I'm a self-proclaimed sheeple. But this new guy at the FCC scares the bejessus even out of me.
Here's a write up on him for those that don't know him.

He's a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress. Maybe you know it by its initials...CAP. Dangerous folks right there.
'Xactly correct. His boss at CAP was John Podesta. Ring any bells? He headed Obama's transition team. Chief of Staff for Clinton.
Let's see.....nope. Not me. Money, power and threats is pretty much what keeps me going.
Oh alright. I'll do it. Muhahahahaha!
I was in Crash's office last week and he already had a name plate made up. King Crash......just sayin'.
