Ahhhhhhh...........it's just the time of the year. Summertime, kind of boring. Hot, humid, need to go to the beach. Think about survival some other time.
Oh wait a minute, I'm thinking of it most times.
Thinking of Aug. 15, going across the street with my new little short bow and trying to get a hog, squirrel, or trout. Sneak back in the woods, if'n no land critters then I will pull the fishing line out and tie off to an arrow and place a fly right in front of that rainbow.
Now if he does not take it, I'll shoot him with an arrow. I'm getting my trout lunch.
Make a little fire and heat up some water for tea, stick the trout on a stick and just enjoy.
Maybe I'll find myself a hackberry, blackberry, or muscadine bush. Hmmm.....I can't wait.
I got an pers. email the other day from a gent who want to get into rendezvous. Ya know, sometimes all you have to do is ask, via an email works great.

Got a few "experts" lately. If a man knows it all why bother? We could argue or discuss points of view without getting personal, not now. Could kinda prod each other, not now. I don't impress easily, sorry bout that. Can't get Rick to eat poison ivy, gave up. Ask what caliber handgun a person carries and I can guarantee an "expert" will cut every one down and the person that carries it as stupid and he should know because he was a cop, vet etc fill in anything. I seldom start threads anymore and only agree or disagree without getting personal. Most of us don't have anything to prove or care if we impress anyone or not, can't even agree to disagree without getting personal. I usually go very light and back off now. I can't quote ballistics and won't look things up to put on a thread so everything I say is knowledge and experience learned the hard way. That's my answer to a darn good question.
