Yes i am sorry about the wife/girlfriend thing. I am no player. It is the same woman. I get confused sometimes because she insists I refer to her as wife because in part of Thailand where farm is they are very old-fashioned and do not think much of unmarried people living together, so it is embarassing for her if I say she is my girlfriend , though personally for me it is not a problem.
I agree with the better to be tried by twelve than carried by six saying but like Crashdive says over here it is tried by one and then carried by six, generally. There really is no justice system as we know of in the US and if it came down to my family's life or mine and a bad guy I would act first and worry later, but I definitely wish to avoid this whole scene so the security guard idea seems like a good one.
As for the quarantine sign, this sounds good but it would be bad for business, and also it is true someone is liable to burn the place down or at least send the mah pee around to kill a chicken or something.
