back away slowly??? heck I am running as fast as my short little legs can go!!!!
i have waaaay to much time on my hands today...
i know i took the day off work to wait for someone about my house and have been playing here all day sooo sad but hilarious..
btw 9.49 for bb and 17.89 for shipping what a scam.
So wareagle...hows it going without the wife at home???
my wife is mostly a vegetarian so when she goes out i really pig out, i just finished to big prime rib steaks and washing it down with crown and Pepsi, so I'd say things are well..
i've been eating so much meat i almost feel sick even had some moose steaks(not norm) my wife thinks i'm a hypocryte for raising an orphaned moose yet i have one of his relatives for dinner. to me i have learned more about moose in the time i have spent raising them that i don't think i possibly ever could have. i normally am not a big fan of tom browns but i do agree when he talks about getting to know your prey and stalking it respecting it now nothing against you rifle hunters but i can put down anything at 1000 yards on a bad day so to me bow hunting is more personal but thats an ethics issue for another time..
I learned early on to not get too attached to the animals we raised, cause we raised them for one thing and one thing only, went a whole winter without eating beef, cause I raised that steer like he was a puppy....after that.I just fed them and walked away,
my house is a retirement farm for critters
I'm not a big Tom Brown fan either. I grew up about 3 counties away from him back in the 70's.
he's got great knowledge i just feel he preaches to much about spiritualism i just want to learn primitive skills if i want preaching I'll go to church.
i always start to look around for a snack when i'm online... I don't understand...
I stalk animals and get in close for a kill, but I still use a rifle. I'm just not that good with a bow and I don't want some poor hoofed beasty staggering around with an arrow that I stuck in it. I've never had to follow a blood trail man, cuz you know..dead animals don't stagger around making blood trails. I'm not a big fan of Tom Brown's either, I think he writes like he's the only authority on anything, but I do agree on knowing what you're doing in terms of your prey. Like I said in an earlier posting, I track animals by knowing them, not by following their footprints.
We're living in Bartlett TN and want to buy some land .It:confused: 's OK if it is 200 miles away any ideas.Do I really need at least two and a half acres so we can shoot on it?Where is it cheap to buy the land?
Thanks
