My doctor threatened to stop seeing me because I don't go often enough. The way I see it, if I can still go to work, I am not sick enough to see a doctor, unless I have given my body enough time that I get the feeling that I may need help. I get physical checkups through the fire department and through work on a yearly basis, so I see no need to go to the doctor for "wellness checks" when I'm not sick, or for "followup visits" after I have gotten over whatever it was that I went see the doctor for in the first place. All these needless visits cost me money and do nothing for me. If my doctor needs a new car, she can find someone else to buy it for her. If she dosn't want to see me anymore, fine, I will find a new one!! Sorry this turned into a rant, I just wanted to show how far some doctors will go to get extra money out of you (as if we have any "extra money"). LOL

Shheeeesh, guys. Isn't it just possible that there are SOME doctors out that they are ultruistic? Really want to help? I'll bet you could even find one or two in the WHOLE WORLD that don't bother charging some folks because they know they don't have insurance and can't afford it. Unknown and untreated conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, diabetes and a host of other ailments all become life threatening if left unchecked.
But, hey. It's just your life. If the cost of a doctor's visit is more important than actually LIVING then okay. Have you next of kin post your obit here so we can send condolences.;)
