Sorry to hear about your losses FM. I really understand how you feel as I have loss two dogs in the past. I now have a Siberian cat..and for this year alone, I think I have spent quite a small fortune when he was sick. he had earlier suffered from Yellow Fever, now recovered. Lat week he had his private parts swollen,..it was due to infection (could be a result of his explorations in the bushes near my house and also high fever. Specialized animal treatments in Malaysia is very very expensive and luckily he was back to his normal self now.
I really understand how you feel.

Thanks for the well wishes. You really don't understand how an animal can impact your life until they aren't there anymore. My kids have been looking and talking about a replacement. I told them not until next year. I think my daughter watched shows about dogs all day Saturday on Animal Planet.

On the bright side of getting a new dog...it helps to ease the pain.

I am sorry for your loss as well. As an owner to 3 dogs, I know how it feels to do something like this. But I know you made the right decision. I would have done the same had one of my pets suffer something this painful.

40 isn't so tough. We got down to 40 last winter. Oh wait......you said minus.......never mind.:whistling:
