The one with my daughter I think is special as I am working on getting her more used to the woods and teaching her skills. Her woods walking was better than mine going down the side of the hill... at least she didnt slip and fall!

That UTG strap would drive me CRAZY. When I carry a separate camera bag slung over my shoulder, I have found it better to put it on, and then put the pack suspension over it. Much more comfortable. Other than that, great videos. Thanks for sharing.

I need to post some pics as we did a 4.5 mile hike last weekend. I wore shorts and once we were on top of the mountain it was not pleasant.

Been in the 70's and 80's here. Looking forward to the weekend starting out in the 20's.

Nice seeing a working dog. As a parent though, I would have freaked about that sled going towards the moving car.

Question about the sled. Are there problems on steeper downhill sections? In PineMartins vid he used rigid poles to prevent the sled from "catching up" to him if he were to slow down or rest.

Yeah, I noticed that as well, and the fact that a pack on your back can make sweat spots where it touches.

Well, the person that almost made it to the road was an adult. I think all the kids were too light to make it that far. Also, I wouldn't really call my dog a working dog. I do work her, but not very often, at least not as much as I should. But, man does she like pulling.

I don't really know. I knew the route that we were going to take, and knew that the road isn't very steep. There is a section that is a little steep. But I just lay on the sled, and she gets to run a little faster. If you notice, I made her line a little long. This helps to prevent the sled from hitting her. Of course, it also makes it difficult to weave through trees.
