In KY one can be a "prepper" and no one knows you are any different from the next guy!

4wd trucks are the norm
we have more guns than people already
living in the woods is everyones' dream
"vacation" mean living in a tent at the lake for two weeks
raising a garden and canning is an expected skill
skinning small game is one of the skills required for entry to kindergarten

If you have most of your own teeth, have a real job, and have never been arrested for a felony you go to the top of the list!

Only real problem is that many of the best looking women are "pickup truck selective" and will only date men that drive a certain brand or model truck. The real "hard core" Ky women are tractor brand selective.

First question on many dates is "How big is your tractor?"
