One thing I like about the Brits is the Officer escape and evasion course. They get all the officers together like it's some sort of party. After they bed down for the night, they are abruptly awakened in the wee hours of the early, early morning. Then they have to make it past a line of enlisted men to their safe point. The prize for the highest ranking officer caught was a giant bottle of champagne. Needless to say, our team nabbed a 3 star general. One of the guys in my team stuck his finger up the generals nose to subdue him. It worked.
Respect the Gurkas. They were some pretty bad dudes w/ their kuhkris.
And I agree, Sand Hilton. I was dissapointed at how good the accomidations were and the training was way too easy. I was raised by my grand-father who fought in the phillipines during WWII. He was very tough, so basic was a vacation for me.
