Hey Wolves, it's like Rick says, the cat's playin' you man!
I have to agree with WildGoth on this one, In all honesty i find the very meaning on which this thread was made notthing more than stupiddity, I bet you couldnt last more than a few days out their own your own. Do you know how to build a shelter, Make a fire, get water and navigate
Do you have the tools avalible to make a survival kit even ?
I think you need to see a professional survival instructor for some Hands On experiance, This site is great dont get me wrong i love it, But good or not we can all tell you from experiance when your out there cold, wet, and sometimes a bit fed up thats when it sets in.
If you are running away it is not a kit you need but a grub stack , O you need a kit we all need a kit but if this is a planed outing then plan will and take all you can ,as you will need it . Just one question why do you wont to be homeless are you being abused at home ? If so can we help in any way please PM me
Go out and eat worms & roadkill and if you think they are tasty have at it. Better yet, run to your local recruiter of your choice if you're old enough.

Tell us all you know about survival.
To boldly go where no man has gone before.....
henderson, you are 13,what on earth could you want to run away from, you may know "alot" about "survival" but have you ever been in a situation where you needed to use what you "know"? We are not going to give you advice to help you run away, that would be wrong.
If you are really interested in learning survival, thats one thing, but running away does not solve problems,it just creates new ones.
how to make a fire.how to make a shelter.how to find food and cook it
Take it from me kid. Even if you were my age (33) and went out unprepared, you would be in for a very rough ride. My son is 14, but he could make it. reason being, he started learning at a very young age and has years of practical experience. That, and he ate his wheaties. He is taller than I am and very strong. He would never think of running away from home even though he would make it. Not because I tell him not to run away, but because he listens to the voice of experience and uses sound judgement. Don't be irrational. That is when mistakes are made, and mistakes can take away lives. Everyone on this forum has your best interest in mind. Please, listen to the voice of experience. It could save your life.
This is a topic where knowing something is nothing you can think you know something about wilderness survival then day in get killed. To say you know something without experience is to know nothing.
Henderson 616, the 1st rule of survival is to stay level-headed; running away is the opposite of that. I know that these are not the answers that you are looking for but I sense that there is something at home that is troubling you. If I'm right please PM Beowulf as he's a cop and can give you some great advice. Survival takes on many faces, and Surviving a bad situation at home is linked into this category. The Wolf-Pack stands together, so if you want our help then please listen to us. We want to help, OK?
Henderson 616, you may not like the answers that you are getting here, but you did come here looking for something. There are alot of people with experience that can help you if you are willing to accept that help. Glad that you are asking. Please keep asking and listening.

At 13, I had an equipment list, supply list, and designated contact points from my home in New Jersey to Yellowknife.
I was gonna backpack across Canada and live in the wild.
The reality caught up with me, girls came along, then I found motorcycles, got the 62 Caddy then the 65 Jeep.
Joined the USMC and got a real adventure, anything else does not hold a candle to it.
It's nice to dream, even nicer if you can do your dreams. The woods are littered with those who walked in on a dream only to find................Oh, Bear Claw Chris Lapp says it better;
Many a child journeys
this high to be different.
To get from here what their natures
couldn't get them below.
lt comes to nothing.
Can't cheat the mountain, pilgrim.
Mountain got it....
This just shows that you are not ready for survival on your own. It's too bad that you don't seem to like the answers that you're getting here. You may (if you live long enough) find that sometimes those that don't agree with you do have your best interest in mind.
Did you really run away?? just curious :/
