Its been a long week, This was the toughest hike i've ever been on.
There was very little flat walking. Mostly ups and downs and even the downhill made me work for it. Very steep knee busting, toe smashing downhill and lung busting uphill. Very tired right now. Just finished some pizza and a beer, need to sleep for a day or two. I did get some nice pics and will post them soon. I have a few plant and animal Photos i would like some help with.

Internet at my house has been down. I checked in on the neiorbors wireless. it was a good trip but i dont know if i can do many more like it. my knees have gone bad. hiked a full 80 miles and im still feeling it. I did get some nice pics. will be uploading them soon. Im a little bumed out, it was so good being in the woods. i never even thought about work. its been tough going back. i wish i didnt have to. i dont know if anyone here can relate to this but coming back is a little like dying. It dosent feel right, living this modern life. Id rather be in the woods.

I have many more pics but, i am still tired. and more then physicaly tired.
Im not happy living in vermont. and that is what i spent a lot of time thinking about this last week. Ive become a desert rat. and i miss it. I know what i have to do, i have to to move to the west again. Maybe Arizona? Then Again maybe its not where i live but what i do. its a high stress job, but its what ive been doing for 27 years. commerical glazing. There are only a few with my experince and it pays well but. Sometimes i wish i stocked shelves at walmart.

There were some really beautiful sightes along the trail. And im glad i did it.
But it also gave me some time to think. which is good.
I love new England and i always will. Im a Yankee but ive become a desert rat as well, thats where i find my solitude.
Im old enough to think that happyness is not in a paycheck, money will not make me happy. But the question is , what will make me happy? Thought to be continued.
I could probably do the commercial glazing stuff until you got up to the umpteenth floor. I watched some guys hanging exterior glass on the 22 floor when I was in Atlanta. NO WAY, BABY! UH UH.
