As some of you know, there is a member whose credibility I've doubted for some time, especially when he tried pulling the same thing as ND. Here's the problem, however: You have to ask "why is this person doing this?" "What's up with all of this?" "What does it matter if we think they are the originators of the material they post, or it came from elsewhere?"
My thinking is the damage to personal credibility. Also the animosity that is created when such a person gets caught with their (beep) in the wringer.
Rick has posted a lot of great stuff, do we look at him as if he were the ultimate survival guru? No! Army Ranger Rick has come on here a time or two; do we fall down and worship at his feet? No! Cody Lundin has blessed us with some great insights, but he's still just a person like us, just more knowledgeable.
The way I see it, it's all about trusting somebody. If you destroy trust, you lose it forever. Who, after the info came out about the lies he perpetuates, really trusts Bear Grylls, for example? Not me! :cool2:
