really interesting. thank you.
I didn't read the article, but my ex always had cold feet and hands. Other parts that were quite warm though.:)
She hated cuddling but would bundle up in 3 or 4 blankets, even in summer.
One morning I rolled over and cuddled for a good hour before I realized she wasn't even in there. I was cuddling with 3 blankets and a pillow.
wow that sucks rwc
i always thought that the stereotype was that women always wanted to cuddle and complained men didnt give them enough attention
I'm still pretty sure my first response to this thread was the most appropriate answer, for this and a LOT of other situations.
i always cuddle my bf but if im to cold he'll be like "ahhh dont touch me your like ice! you just want to steal my heat"
:innocent:Your bf has some learning to do.:innocent:
My ex called me her "electric teddybear" as in hotter than an electric blanket and cuddly as a teddybear. I am a 365 night a year open window sleeper. We lived in Michigan. She thought it was nuts to have the window open in Winter in Michigan at first. The only time her being cold bothered me was when I was already asleep and she put her ice cold feet on my calves to warm them up. That usually earned her a "dutch oven."
yea my feet are always freezing. it drives me nuts.
Oh I forgot to mention that I used to go to bed before her and get in on her side of the bed and warm it up for her. Oh and just to warn you women, never put flannel sheets on the bed and then wear a full length flannel night gown to bed. Friction to the point of quasi-parlysis.

i think the mystery is solved right there. you can close the case on that one.Quote:
My ex...
i learned that chili peppers and some other spicy spices really raises your core temperature and help you stay warm. maybe that should be added to the list of warmth inducing foods like fat and carbs.
Niacin also warms you up quite a bit. But it can also turn you red and itch like the dickens.
Actually that had nothing to do with it. Her mental illness is the reason the marriage didn't last.No mystery to that. A man works hard to make up for the transgressions, regardless of how minor they are, that he actually does. He can never make up for the malignant halucinations of a troubled mind in the woman he loves. By the by the sweet man that warmed her side of the bed is demon spawn in her mind. not because of the dutch ovens either. It's for things she only thinks or dreamed I did.
touch a nerve?
sorry, i won't joke about that again.
DANG IT!!!!!!!!! I knew I should o' learned how to play chess. No wonder!
