Now that right there is how canoe accidents happen. You gotta sit down not stand up. Good thing you got us lookin' out for you. You could lose all your guns and ammo doin' that.
Well, I appreciate all the help I can get. But Crashdive encourages me to crazy...
lol
That's all real nice....But
Where's the dog?.....We want to see that dog.....
Dog on the bow of the canoe was priceless.
Had to go to a bigger "boat" when the big 100# lab decided to launch off the bow of mine.......LOL
He could flip you over in a heartbeat......lost all the guns and ammo.
Gotta agree. The canine masthead was pretty cool.
LOL. Thanks guys. He's special. Here he is after our first official Kracaneuner camp. He likes biting the smoke and sparks coming off the campfire. He got an ember between his toes on our first camp years ago with the original tribe. 12 guys in camo with guns and knives on them went girly trying to help him. He went 3 days of backpacking before we got back to town and the vet. Tough boy. And he is one of us.

Yo guys , glad to be part of this forum
http://s723.photobucket.com/user/dsj...wtnuv.jpg.html
Hope this works I still am not good at this whole "posting pictures" deal
http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/w...pshjsfn9fi.jpg
Seems to have worked just fine.
All I see is a link. I wanted the actual image there....dang it
On the right hand side in photobucket is a menu option called SHARE LINKS. Select the bottom option (IMG) by clicking on it. That will copy the picture to memory (You'll see it turn yellow and say copied). Then come back to your post, right click and select paste. Easy Peasy.

Randy - How on earth did you teach that dog how to smile for the camera? This could also be a picture of Jimmy Dean...before he died of course.
jimmy dean the sausage guy or james dean the actor? The dog is a elk hound, elk hounds are naturally happy.
Now lets talk about your photo, why so intense? It is ok to smile ya know.
The pictures that Rick and I posted are of DSJohnson.
awe shoot, I didn't know that, for some reason thought it was Rick. lol
Nah. This is Rick.

yes, that's the Rick I remember.
Rick,
Thank you very much. I must have known how to post images once.
Crash,
That image is on a location for a "History Channel" movie about Native Americans in the Civil War. They used re-enactors for extras/color.
Thank both of you gentlemen for helping me learn how to/remember how to post pictures.
The image of the group of folks sitting by the river was in Montana. We were floating/canoeing down the Upper Missouri kind of following The Corps of Discovery's path up river. That was our second of 5 nights on the river.

This was when we launched.
Randy - You'll notice I've traded in my whistle for a bugle. Big band music. I like the "make rescue lively" approach.
DS - You're welcome.
lol here is the one my grandson likes most. He asked sheepishly,"pawpaw, are you capt America?" He was 3 then.Attachment 10813

I know i already posted a pic of myself and my oldest friend but was browsing some old fb photos and found this one of myself from about 6,7 yrs ago at duck mountain provincial park in sask,,one of my last really long car camping trips we stayed almost 2 weeks which was impressive due the fact that i convinced my wife to go there despite her overwhelming fear of bears ,2days in my Wife goes to camp store and sees. Rangers shoot a bear like 15' away from her needless to say i have probably never talked so smoothly in my life lol
