Just wanted to let all of you know that I voted from my hospital bed on Thursday, by absentee ballot, for the January 19, 2010, Massachusetts special election for US Senate.
I never stop b*tching about Congress, and I wasn't about to let a little surgery stop me from casting my vote in THIS contest..
A while back, I predicted that this election would be close and would likely be a bell weather for things to come. Well, dammit, my vote counts, and I made dern sure I got it in.
I'm proud of you, little yankee buddy. In your morphine haze, you probably voted for Foghorn Leghorn, but that's OK.....you voted, and we're proud of you!:smash: LOLQuote:

Less than 25 hours. The question is, will I be lighting my last Cuban (errr, I mean Cuban "seed") cigar tomorrow night? The Doc said I can have ONE glass of champagne. Believe it or not, I prefer that sweet cheap Asti stuff. :innocent:
I had a feeling SOMETHING good was about to happen three months ago when the polls were 65-35. Since I can't post anything political, I'll leave it to all of you to guess what that something "good" is.
Now, it's back to the couch to watch more of the FOX News Channel and the Food Channel.
We'll be watching with baited breath, I'm sure.
