I don't think I followed the guidelines for this when I registered so I figured I'd re-do it. Hopefully this will let people know a lil bit more about me.

Your Prior Relevant Training General first aid and CPR training certified, I understand basic emergency procedures. That's the only specific training I've ever recieved unless cub scouts, webelos and boyscouts counts. LOL!
The Nature of Your Prior Experience I've spent a week or two in the wilderness many, many times. Pretty much spend any free time in the wilderness, making stuff, reading books or online learning about the things I like. I feel pretty comfortable with my neck of the woods and feel I could "almost" live out there year round if needed.
Your Level of Experience (novice, intermediate, advanced, expert, instructor, etc.) When I first joined I figured advanced, but now I'd say intermediate. There's a lot more I'd like to learn.
Your Preparedness Planning I have no set preparedness plan. I don't believe in doomsday prophecies, don't live in a flood zone, volcano zone, etc. I don't believe in storing up goods, bomb shelters and such. I feel the only real disaster to strike us locally would be tornado, mass disease, nuclear fallout, government takeover/ martial law, or economic collapse. I'm prepared for tornado, but am not sure what I could do to prepare for the others and would like to learn more and be prepared if possible.
Your Interests and Hobbies family and friends, christian religion, hunting, fishing, gathering, plants, trees, fish, animals, nature in general, wilderness skills, bushcraft/ survival skills, native american/ frontier/ abo history/ society, history and society in general, woodworking, bowling, tropical fish and plants,, computers, internet, mass media and the influence they have on modern society, gardening, farming, homesteading, etc. etc.
Your Membership and Learning Objectives To learn and share what little I know about wilderness living, homesteading?, preparing for disaster, survival, medicine, wild plants and such.
I think that about covers it! :art:
