ELECT HOPEAK - 2012
Oh, sorry. Wrong thread. :innocent:
The magic czar has spoken. "do not look behind the green curtain".
Well....you have to understand.....there are very very scientific "things" that moderators have to do. Not just any riff raff....I mean....anybody can do it. It takes years and years...well, maybe not years...but days anyway to learn how to do it. You have to be willing to put in Looooooong hours of tedious work....like getting coffee and pastries for Chris. Once you've proved that you can "serve" in that capacity, then and only then, can you be considered moderator material. That's when you start making the big bucks!!
Of course, a very good way to start is sucking up to us. I mean REALLY sucking up to us. That would get you points.
Shining shoes is good, fixing great meals for us is good, sending all the Morels you find can go a long way......:sneaky2:
To quote myself talking to my kids.."Who says you get a say in this?"
Eh I'm a Moderator on another forum...it's ok but no big deal really. I don't really see a need to vote for Mods though. The ones we have are good at what they do so why vote?
Why would anyone want the job?
Like I said, I don't have a problem with our mods or the way things are. Sometimes, I get an idea and I throw it out to see if it sticks. However, I can think of a couple of knowledgeable and relaxed folks who would make pretty good mods in addition to the ones we have.
Boy are you lucky you threw in "in addition to". Otherwise, you would have failed at "sucking up" and I'd probably have to dust off my ban button.
If'n there's gonna be elections I suppose a campaign manager is in order. I wonder if Sam Reeves is available?:lol::lol:
