I am in the market for a new bow. I did plenty research and shooting of all different kinds of bows. I thought I had my mind made up between the Mathew's Reesen or DXT (a short Drenaline). I say again THOUGHT. Today I went to my local Pro Shop and got a look at the just released today (demo model) Mathew's Z7. Holy crap!!! What a bow! It is absolutely perfect for me. The draw is much smoother than the Reesen but not quit as nice as the DXT due to it more agressive speed cam. 332 fps shots with a 30'' axel to axel bow is fantastic. It is like a Reesen (speed) and a DXT (small size) mated together and gave birth to perfection IMO. It's comes standard with a Dead End string stop and Harmonic stabilizer. This is on top of the standard string stops mounted to the limbs and the already standard Harmonic Dampener. This is one put together piece of equipment. Can't wait till they start shipping. It's gonna be in the $760.00 range for the naked bow but worth every penny IMO. With it's compact dimensions it's gonna be perfect in a stand or ground blind where space is critcal. I realize that they just came out today but has anybody else seen these wonders of modern technology? Just thought I'd share my enthusiasm. I'm all jazzed up and busting at the seams. Ya'll stay safe.
