Free stuff
Do any of you check places that have free coupons like.
www.freestuff.com
www.totallyfree.com
www.qualityhealth.com
These are places that either send you free samples of coupons for free stuff. I recently got several free samples of tooth paste, baby oil, coupons for " female" products for my wife. Coupons for free baby stuff like diapers, enfimil, and such. We use every free sample/coupon we get. Even if it's not stuff we use/need/want. We pass it on to others or if it's stuff that won't expire/spoil we can save it for barter items.
Some of the stuff I've got in the past is.
Toothpaste
Shaving cream
Baby oil
Female products ( tampons,pads, such)
Diapers
baby wipes
hair spray
combs
tooth brushes
Plus a lot more I can't remember right now. I have even gotten free fishing lures, hunting gear and so forth.

If youever see a banner for Pinecone Research, they pay you for surveys, and if you get chosen to test the product in the survey, you get paid again for doing another survey on it after trying,I've gotten alot of products to try (full sized) and paid to do so.
You normally must find a banner to join, but occasionally they do give the members an opportunity to "recruit" new members, usually a specific demograghic, but sometimes, just needing more members.

walmart.com also has free samples on their site.
Did you know, that walmart is starting to offer caskets and urns on their website??
Yup,thats right, you will be able to order your casket/urn on their site, and have it shipped to your home.

Whenever you order ANYTHING off the internet you should always do a google for coupons. I just saved 20% off a Diane RWS .177 air rifle because the placed I ordered it from (which had the lowest price to begin with according the thefind.com) had a coupon on the net. Schweeeeeeet.

Never sign up for anything that you have "complete" a certain number of offers to get(i.e. complete 1 of the silver offers,2 of the gold offers, and 3 of the platinum offers) thoseusually require a credit/debit card, and you are going to end up buying more than the offer, meaning,if you order these items, there is some fine print SOMEWHERE on their sight that says you are signing up for a service or such that will charge you a monthly fee.
THese are scams, and are NOT free offers, cancelling those things is a pain in the butt, and you must have a translator to understand what the person on the other end of the line is saying in the first place.
Free is free and means you should never have to give more than your name, address, age (depends on if there is an age requirement) DOB,don't give your phone number if it is not required (usually required info is marked with an asterisk *)
-
I wouldn't give out your actual DOB, pick a different month, just to be safe. The marketers need your demographics but to them there's no difference between Jan and May. My concern is that their websites and databases are not as secure as ecommerce sites, but do contain enough personal info that if breached/stolen could do some damage. Just my two-cents.

If anyone ever steals my identity they'll be knocking on the door within a week to give it back. No one wants my identity. I don't even want it about half the time. (sigh)
