my custom poncho knife!!!
hey everyone, i dont know if anyone else has gotten a knife from poncho yet and if so has it been reviewed. i did not get a chance to comment on the quality of the one sent to me before lost computer access for a while so i would like to say now that it is really, really REALLY a nice knife.
im not a knife expert but i can say this knife feels great! it rides well in the sheath, feels very comfortable and well balanced and the finish, from sheath to handle to blade, is very beautiful. it has gotten a little feild time and handled very well. it sliced up dogbane like no tomorrow and held an edge wonderfully.
i may not be an expert but the knife has recieved praise from a few who are (namely the head instructor and the blacksmithing instructor at my primitive skills course) so i feel confident that my happiness with it is not all in my head :)
sorry that the pictures do not do it justice. the cocobolo handle is a very beautiful red/brown and it looks too orange in these pics. oh well. take my word for it. poncho is making some very quality product. i plan on getting more from him in the future.
