Collapsable Cup

Here's an item that may have a place in your pocket kit or belt kit.

The larger size holds 5 oz.

those cups are great!!!... they take up very little room... put it in your hip pack along with some plastic tubing and a small sheet of folded poly and you got yourself a portable solar still...takes up very little room, creates your own water anywhere you go!!!!

When I was a kid they made the same kind of cup only it was plastic.

Wonder if they still make the plastic ones? They were cheap and light.

Also wonder if you could heat liquid in them, or would they expand and collapse.

Each large BOB pack has a sierra cup, canteens have canteen cup, but I do like redundancy, and they are kinda cool.

They still make the plastic ones. I have several. But if space is VERY limited (pocket kit) and you can't pack a pot or full sized titanium cup, I suspect that one of these stainless steel cups will hold up for a while if used as a small cooking/boiling vessel.

NO...that is not it.....It was flat, very, very flat, like two thin sheets of stainless steel, and you indexed them and it turned into a cup shaped some what like a cone. It was flat.

That was the Neanderthal guys. They "ughed" at everything. At first, we called it "no wipe, ouch". The ouch, of course, is onomatopoeic. (Do you know how long I've been waiting to use that word? Finally!)

Hope, I've never seen the cup you're talking about I don't guess and I can't find anything on the net that resembles it. If you still have one and can find the manufacturer I'll see what I can come up with.
