Pics from my trip
I have been gone for a while. I got married recently and we went on our honeymoon to the Washington and Oregon coasts. It is absolutely gorgeous out there. Here are some pics that I took while hiking. Hope you enjoy. The first waterfall is Multnomah Falls, the second one is Bridal Veil Falls, the next one is Ponytail falls just above horsetail falls, the forth one is Mt. Adams as seen from Hood River Mountain. The last one is the Columbia River valley as seen from the top of Hood River mountain. I'll post more when I get a chance.

Thanks everyone! Rebel- yeah it was windy the day I took the pic of Mt. Adams. The weather was absolutely gorgeous the whole time we were there.
The first pic here is Mt St Helens. The second one is a gully created by one of the volcanoes' pyroclastic flows. The third has Mt Adams on the left and on the right hidden in the clouds is Mt Rainier as seen from Sunrise overlook. The 4th is more mountains as seen from Sunrise. The 5th is Seattle at night from the Space Needle.

This last one is of Heceta Head Lighthouse and Bed and Breakfast. It is still a working lighthouse and bed and breakfast. They have a 7 course gourmet breakfast that is made with local foods and produce grown on the grounds. It is amazing.

First, congratulations on your marriage. I wish you many happy, healthy years together. Second, those are some truly outstanding photographs. I was at Mt. St. Helens around 1996 or so. It's hard to believe but there is quite a bit more vegetation now than then. It sure is slow to grow back when there isn't any topsoil left.
I'm glad you had a great time. The Northwest is pretty incredible any time of year.
