Forge Progress

Well, I finally have a configuration that works fairly well. I still need to do a little tweaking, but I was able to get all three blades that I heat treated today to non-magnetic in a reasonable amount of time. Based on how this worked I will probably try my hand at the coffee can forge that Rick posted a while back.

Okay, just kidding. What kind of nozzles are those?

They're a flat, wide nozzles. The kit (Harbor Freight) came with three tips. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=91899 I think the round tip would have worked as well. I just wasn't getting a large enough flame with the previous try. The T adapter is one that I had for running my Coleman stove, lantern, etc.

Cool. I've got a Bernzomatic Torch I was thinking might make for a good forge.
