Newbie from Revelstoke
Howdy,
I've been lurking for quite a while, but given the quality of the discussions, I've finally decided I want in!
I've became interested in survival since I bought a copy of the SAS Handbook whilst in middle school, and I've been working (and often failing) at techniques since then.
I recently moved from Vancouver to Revelstoke, here in BC's interior temperate rainforest, and my interest in survival has been rekindled. I'm not a complete greenhorn when it comes to the outdoors and survival--I've been hunting and fishing here in BC since I was out of diapers--but I'd love to hone my skills!
So, is that how these introductions are supposed to work? I've posted on many forums, but I've never been directed to post an introduction for myself!

Hello and welcome. We just like to offer (and recieve) the best information possible. It kind of helps to know a bit about folks.

Welcome home. I think you did well. If someone asks a question it's helpful to know if they have no experience, some or if they are really proficient in the outdoors. The answer may offer up more detail if we know you are learning in certain skills areas.

Welcome,
The intro is necessay because we tailor our response to your questions based on what you tell us in your intro. This is not a one size fits all forum.
