That's pretty wild. So much for that expensive pole and reel.
Thats a cool video.I can only imagine trying to explain that to the EPO back at the boat ramp."No officer I do not have a fishing licence.I swear they just jumped into the boat".
That's pretty funny. We had a similar incident on Saturday. We were canoeing in Greene-Sullivan when the fishing started jumping like that. I'm sure something was chasing them and none landed in the canoe but it was pretty wild for a few minutes.
:phone:i would have liked to have been there. the guy in the video covered up his head to keep from being pelted!
i have seen them do that too but wasnt lucky enough to get a meal.......so when you goin' fishin' again Rick? i dont mind swimming behind the boat.......:smash::clap:
We are going fishing for gator this week-end. We could use the bait. Thanks!

i remember one time we went shrimping at turtle mound in new smyrna. i caught a five gallon bucket full.(i had four lobsters also) so when we got back to the dock the fish and game commission guy checked our buckets. let me tell you he didnt believe for a second that those were realy big shrimp. so after pleading and groveling they let me keep the dead lobster, and i had to release the other three. one of them said if that looks like a shrimp the next time ill help you figure it out. (i wonder what he meant)?
Um Ken I thought we were going to keep that a secret. And yes I have put the pasenger door back on the jeep.:innocent::laugh:
Um, not that I'd ever do this, but I'm told that the hand crank portion of a very old telephone with a wire out each side of the boat will do the same thing in daylight.
Indeed, but they won't be jumping.
i wonder if that could become a method of fishing "shock 'em so they hop into the boat"!!
If you shock them they will just float to the surface.
