Charlie - Do you actually have deep woods in Iowa? I thought it was like Davenport, corn, Des Moines, corn, Omaha, NE.
Charlie - try the books with big print, and when you are saying the words out loud, say them slow - easier to keep up that way.
this state aint got allot a wood but down in the very deepest southern part along the big river there is deep wood. my yard is the wood. the tics are real bad this year. gotta get couple more ginnys, they eat the tics by the pound.
