Report it to your local health department. You might have picked up a bug someplace and the timing was coincidental or you might have a case of food poison. Either way, the health department needs to know. If it IS food poisoning then others will not doubt be involved and the health department can use all the info they can get when tracking down a common illness.

Rick is right ..But back when I worked out of town all the time I would get sick like that 2 or 3 times a year

You eat at those places you take a risk. But do report to the health department. Most people don't go in and complain, so they could have a large number of people that were affected.

one of the reasons i do not eat out anymore, honestly to scared to, as most folks are becoming, not wanting to trust the large companies anymore. has anyone else noticed the the grocery stores are setting up to mimic farmers markets? i am more adament about buying and groing locally.
i think the manager was following protocol denial.

Depending on where you live, you can access restaurant inspections and citations on line through you local health department. It's an interesting read. But! Don't be shocked. Even the best, most conscientious restaurants will be written up for violations. That doesn't mean they are unsafe to eat at. If your kitchen were inspected there is no doubt it would be written up, too.
I think our health inspectors do a pretty bang up job given the resources they have and the incredible number of restaurants they have to inspect. The incidence of food borne illness at the restaurant level is pretty low. That's a testament to their effectiveness, I think.
Check out the web page of your local health department and see if they have inspections on line.
The same is true of day care providers although the state usually does those inspections. In Indiana we can pull up the inspection record of any provider and see what they were written up for. The actual report is online.

Thanks for the insite, They will never get another dime from me.

I rarely eat out anymore, but when I do - if it's a place I haven't been to before I ask to look at the kitchen. I've had a few restaurants accounts - beautiful and fancy in the front of the house - biggest, nastiest, roach infested dump in the kitchen. If they won't let me look, I walk away.

I generally judge a restaurant by the bathrooms. If they don't keep a highly visible room like that clean, imagine what the kitchen looks like!!!!

feel the same way as a plumber, been in alot of kitchen ad bathrooms, this may surprise you but mcdonalds has the cleanest kitchens, if i eat out its usually there if not its a small chinese bufffet here in town

One of the local places in the town where I work has great tasting food. The glazed meatloaf is especially tasty and cheap - and I get sick every time I eat it.
