Pictures From Alexander Springs

A few of us got together this weekend at Alexander Springs in the Ocala National Forest. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Looking down the springs, there was a large branch hanging over the water, as we got closer we noticed something in it. It seems that there was a large hawk sitting on the branch – maybe waiting for lunch to float by.

Did a little exploring, swapped some stories, RWB brought some of the projects he's been working on (he's made some stoves and pots that would make any gram weenie proud), did a little knapping, did some napping too, watched the wildlife, made some new friends. All in all an enjoyable weekend.

Nice looking place and good pics, but no snake skins or other decent hides for boots, belts and other goodies?

RWB passed by a large gator while out in the canoe. Sounded big enough for belt, boots, wallet, set of travel luggage.

we had a good weekend inspite of ourselve.lol. enjoyed meeting crash and his wife, also, rw/ob and his wife and dog.rwb is a true artist in all things..and thats not my pic, its a cat bird, i spoiled the shot lol.sorry more couldt make it..

that looks nice, i'm glad you all had a good time. i just woke up from a 2 day fishing trip on the sacramento river, where i dropped my camera in the water at 3am. needless to say i didn't get pictures the second day.
