of course if this thing goes it will be more like
:eek::eek::eek::eek:
Probably better they don't cover it too much, the media tends to over do things.
Maybe the precurser to 12/21/2012? lol
I'm guessing from the link that it's a topic or thread on another forum. You know the funny little thing about the conspiracy theorists that populate some of the forums, especially when they say "nobody is reporting it."....to say something like that fits their agenda. I've read quite a bit on the tremor and quake activity in the vicinity of Yellowstone lately. A quick Google search revealed 718 news stories on the topic. Just like this forum......just because somebody posts it doesn't make it true.
I would like to take this chance to say goodbye to everyone east of Yellowstone.........And I have some good high land (Just a weeee'bit) north west of Yellowstone for sale.......:)
On a more serious note: Alaska and Indonesia are having lots of quakes this week also. :(
Hopeak, have you felt tremors lately?
i thought the tremors were cuz he was out of creamer
seriously crash not allot of conspirousy theories on that forum
I'm assuming that was the yellowstone thing? The media exaggerated it (as usual). There are followup articles interviewing geologists and seismologists who research Yellowstone and they say it's nothing. There were more and larger clusters in the 70s. Nothing happened.
Why else would the poster say that the media isn't covering it when there are hundreds of stories out there?Quote:

I have seen this on the news here and there but many say it is not a big deal as of yet. If it blows then we are all screwed ha. I guess living in the mountains on the east coast has its advantages.
Doesn't seem that too many USGS folks are getting upset about the swarm. Clicky for USGS Yellowstone
