Sswingle - a scout dad
Hi all,
I'm taking crashdrive123's suggestion and am intoducing myself.
I'm interested in the forum as a camper. Been camping all my life and doing it regularly since my son's joined the scouts 10 years ago.
Although I like camp gadgets, I'm also interested in minimal equipment these days. Partly because we backpack a lot and partly cause I'm tired of carrying so much crap around.
Other hobbies include guitar and football (the "from the couch" kind :)
Oh yea - in real life I'm an environmental scientist and work for a consulting firm.
