Berry time!
The berries are out here in PA. Mulberries last week, black raspberries this week and blackberries sometime next week.
I'll tell ya this, I ain't wasting time with no jams or jellies; they're all going into pies.
Already had a fantastic black raspberry buckle. Just wondering now what to make next. Some sort of wine or brandy, maybe? Do any of those berries make decent alcohol?
Notice how I betrayed my first statement the second I thought of hooch.

both mullberries and black raspberries make fine wine and brandy. the wine is easiest, for it's simpliticy.

I have a few raspberries on my new little plants. Not enough for a pie but enough for hope.
