Hello from Texas
Hello, I am a Registered Nurse in Texas with interests in finding natural ways to treat basic medical conditions as well as finding edibles in the natural landscape. We recently moved out into an area with mixed forest on 12 acres and I am learning what grows in the area. I have found Reishi mushrooms, Turkey Tail, parsley hawthorn, mullein, oak, black walnut, toothache tree, and more but there are many things out here I'm not sure of still so I'd like to post pics and have people help me identify some of this stuff. This is a hobby of mine, as is gardening, but one never knows when it might come in handy! Looking forward to talking with people here more knowledgeable than me. Who knows, maybe I can help someone else.
