All he had to do was ask!
Got a friend that has gone into buying panic mode.
He has been calling and e-mailing for weeks; how about this? how about that? what do I need next?
Yesterday he calls and asks if I have any .22 magnum ammo? He has purchased a .22 magnum even though the store had no ammo for the gun. That should have been a clue right there!!!! You walk in to the biggest gun shop in town and they do not have ammo for the gun they are selling!!!
There is not a box of .22 magnum ammo in North Kentucky or most of the eastern U.S. and none of my regular suppliers has a single box.
He has bugged me to death about every firearm thought he had for the past month, but he does not call before buying this "had to have it" pistol.
I told him I do not have any .22mag, and probably will never have any since I quit doing the rim-fire thing a while back just because of the ammo shortages.
He is a good guy but I feel no remorse for not being able to supply him with ammo. It is like watching someone walk into a post while texting on their phone, you just have to laugh.
If he had asked BEFORE the spent $300 on an impulse purchase he could have had a nice .380 or 9mm which he could actually feed.
On top of that the pistol is one of those guns that if you had a top five list it would be #23 (NAA Black Widow).
