One Week Away
It's a week to Christmas Eve and so many of our men and women will spend this holiday away from family and friends standing watch and keep us safe from harm's way. If you are currently deployed away from family then let me say THANK YOU and I WILL be thinking of you this holiday season. My family and I will take a moment during Christmas dinner to remember all of you and your sacrifice.
If you are home on leave or stationed close to family my thank you extends to you as well. And I can't forget our allies and friends that help keep watch.
If you are not in the service and want to help a service member it's not too late. There are great programs to make our service folks know they are appreciated and they DO make a difference.

Thank you for posting this. It is a good reminder that Christmas and the holiday season is a time when people should be thinking of others and not merely going to shopping malls. :clover:
