A re-introduction
Hello, everybody.
I have been a member of this forum for quite some time now, but it has been a very long time since I posted anything, so I figured I should re-introduce myself. I'm about to be a college student in NE Iowa, where I've lived pretty much for my entire life. I'm not here because I am interested in homesteading or prepping (although I would like to homestead at some point in my life... maybe when the weather's nice :smartass:). I'm here mostly to pick the brains of more experienced woodsmen and share what I know. Anyways, here's the list:
Skill level:
Eagle Scout, probably would be considered "intermediate". I know enough to learn.
Training:
I was Wilderness First Aid certified at one point, but it has expired since then.
Experience:
A couple of canoeing and hiking trips, lots of Boy Scout trips.
Age:
18
Gender:
Male
Relevant interests and hobbies:
Backpacking, primitive-ish camping, and volunteering with the Boy Scouts.
I saw this way to fold a blanket so it works as a backpack; I'll have to post it sometime.

Thanks, everyone. I plan on double major-double minoring in English, Philosophy, Public Writing and Rhetoric, and something else.
