After about 6 months of using your knife for just about everything from chopping onions in the kitchen to cutting the baling twine off the roundbales I have to say I am extremely pleased with my knife! I have used it when I am "in the woods" and just around the place also. To be very honest I had never wore a sheath knife much for EDC except when I was camping or doing rondevooing/living history. So it took me a while to get comfortable with it on my belt. It holds up to what I consider to be pretty rough service very well. Most knives dull very quickly when you use them to cut the netting or twine off of round bales but the edge on my Crashblade holds up very well. I have also used it to cut through some fire hose and that is almost certain death to the edge of a knife. I used it a lot for food prep, either in camp or in my kitchen and I really like it. So far I have only used ceramic sharpeners and a leather strop to touch it up. I am going to build a different sheath for it because I do not want to ruin the one you built for me. When I get it made I will show it to you. All in all it is a great woods knife but it seems a touch "big" for my EDC, and since what I was wanting was a "woods/bushcraft" knife it is perfect!
Very nice Crash. Your knifes are well made and work wonderfully for years. I still have the one I one from the first Jamboree I attended. Still in service and going strong. I love carrying that thing for hunting and hiking. Very useful and strong.
