Well people school is almost out and the weather over most of the nation has warmed to the point that the nights are survivable with only a sleeping bag, and everyone has forgotten that just two or three weeks ago they could have died if locked outside the house overnight.
It is time for all the kids to hit us with ROTTW posts and all the new high school grads to start asking about "off grid" (meaning a general hobo lifestyle) living, as well as all the college grads that are facing graduation with no job and massive student loan debt they are trying to dodge through "no trace camping". We will also have a few adults wishing to abandon family and responsibility in exchange for the life of the noble savage.
This is just a reminder that we need to watch the advice we give to those obviously spending their first night outdoors.
Some are children and need guidance, but have parents that could try to sue us.
Others are simply deranged, and also need guidance.
It is that time of year!
