We have 50s, windy and overcast. No snow but maybe flurries tomorrow. Sometimes I envy you folks up there in Alaska and sometimes I don't. Gotta be one hell of a sight to see though.
hopeak, is this a little later in the season for snow this time of year? It is here. I was going through pictures from May 10th last year and my kids were swimming in the pond.
We needed the moisture here though, so I guess thats good.
Hopeak next week is supposed to be back up in the 50's

Spring is late in our neck of the woods, at least as far as birds and bears are concerned...still no robins, just the odd migratory bird so far. Still no bear tracks here and by our "neighbours".
Nights have been warm so it's hard to go anywhere because the snow has no crust and the lake ice is getting slippery.
But the dogs are happy, finally eating dirt again.

This is one of the wierdest winters I've seen in some time.
GVan, I've been talking to relatives where I'm from in La. and they are saying the same thing. They've been cutting grass for a while now.
I've mowed mine for the last two weeks here in central Indiana.
I mowed my lawn yesterday with a 9 1/2 FISHER "V" plow.
Well, you got rid of the dandelions that way.:D
Ah, excellent, the migratory birds must have intercepted my satellite internet message griping that they're not here yet...woke up to a robin and (?) yello-rumped warbler!
