Holy Cow!
Imagine you are driving along on a bridge...one of the only people on the bridge....and an airplane comes out of nowhere and hits your car. Watch closely in the video and you'll see the airplane wing tip hit the van.

The very good news for the driver is he escaped unharmed. Sadly, that was not the case for those aboard the plane. How could you possibly be in the very worst place on the whole bridge? I guess SHTF comes in all shapes and sizes.

Just saw that on the news.....man, when your number is up, it don't matter....and when it's not, it's not.
You are correct...Holly Cow!
Who drive around with a camera running all the time?

Lots of people have dashcams and keep them on anytime they are driving. I've seen some pretty cool things from others dash cams. When I saw this on yesterday, my first thought was fake. But then I saw it start to show up on news sites. Daaaang!

Watched that on the news this morning. Looked at Mrs. Crash and said "glad we're not flying today". I guess driving near an airport should not be taken lightly either.
-
Ouch. It didn't hit the fan though; it hit the van.
My thoughts and prayers go out to those aboard the plane and their families.

We had a dog once...that would duck in the truck when a low flying plane crossed 294 at O'Hare......and would duck under over passes as well.
Dog some times know more than people.......
I'll be watching as well ...now.

I use to have to fly into Washington National Airport and always hated it. It was just too scary coming in so low over all that stuff, especially after that one plane went into the Potomac River.
