Wow, fantastic pic's.....sorry to see junk....but I guess you can't get away for that.

Looks like a great day at the beach.

Been raining here, in La..... since last night.....

Most of the junk that washes up here is debris from boat/ship wrecks. The half buried drum is probably around the 200 gallon size. The large piece is either part of the deck or bulkhead of (most likely) a big fishing boat. The poly rope is a 4" diameter line from one of the bigger ships.

awesome pictures, looks like a great place to go beach combing.

Beautiful! It's nice to start off the year with a nice outing like yours, I took a hike at my local National Wildlife Refuge, Bombay Hook, today. The waterfowl was really out so we got the opportunity to see a multitude of ducks, geese, swans, and other birds. Thanks for sharing!

Those are some great pics as usual. I figured the debris was ship wrecks. Your pics also tell the story of some harrowing adventures that might have seen the loss of life. Sometimes you have to read between the pixels.
